Helmond Biotech-materials Hub BV was co-founded by Frank van der Zanden and Patricia Dankers.
Frank van der Zanden is a seasoned Life Science entrepreneur with a focus on the Life Sciences sector. With over 20 years of experience in contract laboratory research, he previously served as the director of Bactimm BV (now Eurofins Bactimm) and is currently the CEO of Sure Laboratories and a board member of 2Wave Diagnostics.
Patricia Dankers, full-time professor of Biomedical Materials & Chemistry, is engaged in fundamental research at Eindhoven University of Technology. Alongside her renowned academic work, she strives to translate scientific discoveries into applications that enhance patient care, as evidenced by her involvement in LSHspin-offs such as VivArt-X and UPyTher.
Both Frank and Patricia are deeply rooted in LSH R&D and testing. Their shared ambition is to fast-track innovative therapeutic technologies to patients, beginning with providing cleanroom and laboratory facilities for emerging entrepreneurial startups.
